Playing the Solarpunk Game
"Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." -Matthew 18:3
“Play” is one of our rules and there are several reasons for why we intentionally make time in our lives to play. Play and playing games helps us stay humble. Play helps us center joy, friendship and personal growth. Play builds community and intentional play can build trust, momentum and vision for the parts of our lives that need our serious attention. We know that play and games can be tools that God uses to help us become happier, calmer, quicker, smarter, wiser, holier, kinder and more loving people—friends who are fun to be around.
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, JOY, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." -Galatians 5:22-23
There are are also several ways that we play. We play physical board games, card games, video games, computer games and smart phone games with each other. We take time to do this and is part of the ways we intentionally try to stay in touch and keep connected. We also are creating games for each other to play, to help each other, to entertain, enjoy, empower and encourage each other.
